Reviews and Ratings
I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. On the positive side, the location was outstanding, with well-maintained grounds perfect for walking and relaxation, and plenty of entertainment options. However, the rooms had some issues, from only having one chair to encountering mold in the bathroom ceiling. The service was exceptional and very attentive to our needs, with great attention to detail in maintaining guest distancing. The dining experience left a little to be desired with a limited breakfast selection, but the facilities were top-notch, especially the beautiful light display during Christmas.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though old-world in style, were updated for comfort, especially the modern bathrooms. However, my room had a view of AC vents and other equipment. On the bright side, it was conveniently close to the main house and a short walk to the Pool House Bar and pool with a charming sunroom/porch.
I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The glassed-in porch in our room was perfect for relaxing evenings and enjoying breakfast. The 1900 vintage room was spacious and cool, equipped with a large double bed, fridge, and efficient air-conditioning, making our stay comfortable. However, the dining options were limited, which was a bit of a letdown.
